Magnificent little Limoges enamel oval pendant representing the craftsmanship of French enamellers in the second half of the 20th century. It features a fine miniature portrait of the Virgin Mary veiled in blue, executed in polychrome enamel on a deep garnet-red background. The gold-toned metal frame bears a lovely guilloché and striped edge. On the back, the piece bears the workshop's handwritten signature “Coutures et fils / I.P. Limoges”. A beautiful devotional or collectible object in very good condition. Fine French Limoges enamel religious pendant depicting the Virgin Mary in profile with a blue veil. Handcrafted in France during the mid-20th century (c. 1950–1970), this piece features vibrant polychrome enamel work set in a gold-tone patterned frame. Signed on the reverse side “Coutures et fils / I.P. Limoges”.
