NO RESERVE PRICE!- Sculptural IRON METEORITE Campo del Cielo (Argentina

The Campo del Cielo meteorite fell to Earth about 4,500 years ago, in what is now Argentina, the largest known rainfall of metallic meteorites. It was used by pre-Columbian peoples to make metal utensils and it caused true astonishment among the Spanish conquerors when they arrived in the Americas. In this batch we present a complete piece of Campo del Cielo metallic meteorite with a very flat shape, giving it an uncommon appearance. It has been cleaned and stabilized to prevent oxidation. A clean, sound specimen with no bothersome oxides, excellent quality, worthy of a great collection. Metallic meteorites like this originate from the cores of large asteroids that disintegrated during the formation of the solar system, and they have ages similar to that of the Earth itself, i.e., more than 4 billion years old. Since the government of Argentina prohibited the export of these meteorites, their value has been rising rapidly. A safe investment as well, since they are increasingly difficult to find for sale. An excellent opportunity to add this wonder of the universe to your collection. We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, so we guarantee lifetime authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material.
