I am Noelia Correa, a visual artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, of Argentine-Spanish roots. I have been working in my studio in Alicante, Spain for 25 years. My work is born between two seas that have always accompanied me: the force of the Atlantic and the serenity of the Mediterranean. In my paintings I do not seek to depict places, but sensations. I work with acrylics and mixed media, building up layers, transparencies and textures that invite you to pause for a moment, breathe and connect. Each work is a very intuitive process, almost like a conversation with the canvas.
