The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, doesn’t fade, and ages with the case instead of before the case. The combined glossy and brushed finishes make it legible in every lighting condition. From the display caseback you can observe the Japanese automatic movement in operation, with the Norton-custom rotor recharging with every wrist motion.
