All auctions / Watches & Clocks / Norton - Sirio - Automatico Miyota 8215 - PVD Nero...
orton: over thirty years of Italian watchmaking, where artisanal tradition meets the precision of Japanese and Swiss movements. In this auction we offer: Norton - Sirio - Automatic Miyota 8215 - Black PVD - Guilloché Sunray Dial - Exhibition Caseback - 40 mm - 10 ATM 40 mm automatic watch in stainless steel with a black IP finish, brushed and polished, black dial with guilloché work and sunray finish, visible Japanese automatic movement through the exhibition caseback, anti-reflective mineral glass, water resistance 10 ATM / 100 m, integrated rubber strap. New with box, papers and official 2-year warranty. Sirio takes its name from the brightest star in the sky, and like that star it lives on light. The dial is built around a guilloché pattern of parallel lines beneath a sunray finish: light passes through and shifts tone with every wrist movement, from light to dark, never flat. Applied indices and hands feature luminescent treatment, and the printed minute track completes the dial with instrument-grade precision. The case is 40 mm stainless steel with a black IP finish, brushed and polished, with drilled lugs that allow easy strap changes. The screw-down caseback houses a mineral glass window through which the Japanese automatic movement is observed at work, with the rotor winding on every gesture. The total black is the bolder version: case, dial and indices in the same dark shade, where the guilloché reads not as color but as relief, revealing itself only when light hits it from the side.
