Rarely Encountered Pick-1 in VF (◊) NORWAY. Norges Bank. 5 Kroner, 1877. P-1a. PMG Very Fine 20. First date of issue. Reported printing of 4.2 million notes. A type that was printed well into the 20th century, ensuring that notes such as this remained in circulation for a long time and, as a result, are rare in any grade. This is a well-circulated example but is entirely problem-free, with good paper quality and nothing that stands out beyond what is to be expected for the assigned grade. A rare type, surely missing from even the most advanced collections.
