Still new and unused (New Old Stock / NOS). Rare in this condition. Still with the original box. "W. Germany" print from the production period 1988-1993). Important advantage (AS version): This is the sought-after version with the angled rear panel. Thanks to this clever notch, the bellows device fits seamlessly on larger camera bodies (such as the Nikon F4, F5, D800 series, etc.) without colliding with the grip or bottom of the camera. Specifications: Type: Automatic bellows device with integrated focusing rail. Camera & Lens Mount: Nikon AI / AI-S bayonet (Nikon F-mount). Rear (AS design): Equipped with a diagonally sloping cutout on the bottom of the rear block. This provides extra physical space, so the device fits without issues on cameras with a thick grip or battery grip (such as the Nikon F4, F5, D800 series, etc.). Material: High-quality, anodized aluminum (matte black) with chromium-plated steel guide rails. Weight: 430 grams. Macro & Adjustment Range: Minimum extension (bellows collapsed): 50 mm [1, 2] (this determines the minimum magnification you can achieve with a lens). Maximum extension (bellows fully extended): 130 mm [1, 2] (for extreme macro magnifications). Adjustment travel of the focusing rail: 65 mm [1, 2] (this moves the entire setup forward or backward on a tripod to focus very precisely without changing the magnification factor). Signal & Function Transfer: Mechanical aperture coupling: Fully built-in. The device supports automatic stop-down (the diaphragm closes only when the shot is taken) and open-aperture metering via internal mechanical lever. No electronic EXIF data or autofocus signals are transmitted. Lens compatibility: Fully compatible with manual Nikon AI and AI-S lenses, as well as older AF lenses with a physical diaphragm ring.
