NYX - Golden Moon Reverie – Porcelain Geisha

--- History of the Work --- Golden Moon Reverie – Porcelain Geisha features a contemplative female figure in a composition where blue-and-white porcelain, kintsugi, and a contemporary pictorial gesture meet. Sitting before a huge golden moon, the young woman slightly averts her gaze. Her posture, almost suspended in time, contrasts with the energy of the setting: black ink projections, drips, flowering branches and movements of matter traverse the entire composition. Her kimono combines deep cobalt blue with ivory white, adorned with floral motifs and gold lines evoking the aesthetics of kintsugi. The same precious fractures appear on her skin, as if the character and her clothing had been forged from a single porcelain material. The great moon constitutes the luminous heart of the work. Its textured and irregular appearance recalls gold leaf and creates a striking contrast with the deep blacks and saturated blues. The flowers surrounding the young woman add a more fragile dimension to the scene: they evoke ephemeral beauty, while the gold cracks suggest the opposite: the ability to preserve traces of time and transform them. Between contemporary portrait, gestural abstraction and Asian imagination, the work intentionally plays on the opposition between delicacy and chaos, silence and movement, fragility and preciousness. A particularly rich and spectacular composition, conceived as a strong piece within the PorcelainMuse universe. ---Technical characteristics--- Title: Golden Moon Reverie – Porcelain Geisha Artistic universe: PorcelainMuse Year: 2026 Creation technique: Digital painting – Photoshop / Krita Support: Art print on canvas Dimensions: 60 × 60 × 2 cm Format: Square Setup: Canvas mounted on wooden frame Edition: Limited edition of 25 copies Signature: Signature integrated into the artwork Certificate: Edition/authenticity certificate transmitted by email on request Condition: New Presentation: Ready to hang Shipping: Protective packaging suitable for transporting the artwork Digital Print Use of AI: technical enhancement of definition/resolution to reduce pixellation and assistance in drafting the detailed description of the submission. ---About PorcelainMuse--- PorcelainMuse was born from a fascination with the fragile beauty of Asian porcelain and the stories that objects can tell as they pass through time. Cobalt blue, porcelain white, floral motifs, female figures, warriors, Asian landscapes and kintsugi-inspired fractures gradually constitute the visual language of the collection. In this universe, porcelain goes beyond decorative function. It becomes a metaphor for the human being: precious but fragile, likely to crack, yet capable of preserving its beauty despite the traces of time. Each creation thus seeks to establish a dialogue between the aesthetic heritage of Chinese porcelain and a contemporary artistic writing. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted in current compositions where characters, flowers, materials and symbols tell a new story. Behind every PorcelainMuse face lie universal themes: memory, femininity, strength, transmission, fragility and reconstruction. PorcelainMuse’s ambition is to create works that one does not choose solely for their aesthetics, but for the emotion and the story to which they connect us. ---Commitment to the collector--- Each work receives special attention before shipment and is carefully prepared to ensure its protection during transport. Collector satisfaction is a core commitment of PorcelainMuse. Any questions regarding the work, its edition, its certificate or its receipt are the subject of careful follow-up. This creation belongs to a limited edition of only 25 copies, in order to preserve the confidential character of the collection. ---Keywords--- Blue Porcelain, Blue and White, Asian Woman, Female Portrait, Asian Landscape, Porcelain Art, Cobalt Blue, Contemporary Art, Japanese Inspired, Chinese Porcelain, Oriental Landscape, Garden Art, Figurative Art, Contemporary Woman, Asian Art, PorcelainMuse, NYX
