All auctions / Ethnographical / Octopus in Larimar and solid silver of fine quality
Larimar is a rare stone originating exclusively from the Dominican Republic, appreciated for its hues reminiscent of tropical waters. This cabochon is of very fine quality and set in rhodium-plated solid silver. Local legends suggest that it is the fruit of mermaids' tears. These tales add to its mystique and appeal. In crystal healing, larimar is often associated with several virtues. It is said to promote tranquility of mind, inner peace and relaxation. It helps to calm strong emotions and to foster harmonious communication. Larimar is also regarded as a stone that promotes emotional and spiritual healing and encourages self-expression; it gives the wearer a sense of calm and well-being. One-of-a-kind piece, each stone is unique in its natural pattern. Rhodium plating is a finishing treatment applied at the end of manufacture that coats the silver with a thin layer of rhodium, a precious metal in the platinum family. It provides the piece with increased resistance to oxidation and an intense white shine, while highlighting every detail of the jewelry. A proven technique used by major jewelry houses. 1. Secured shipment with a tracking number. 2. Dispatch twice a week. For Europe and international orders, delivery may vary from 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and the time needed for customs checks at borders. 3. All my stones are genuine, without color treatment, resin, or plastic. They have all been selected with care, but since they are natural and artisanal products, they may sometimes show small imperfections. 4. The pendant’s bailings have been checked, the stated size includes the bail. The chain shown in the photos is not included in the sale; it is a display accessory. 5. Please note the following: The stones reflect light differently depending on the light, indoor lighting, or sun. The photos were taken indoors with suitable lighting and outdoors in natural light when weather allows. I always strive to faithfully reproduce the natural colors of the stone. 6. Unlike industrial jewelry, artisanal jewelry in stone and silver made by hand, even if of high quality, may show slight marks or traces that attest to its authenticity. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
