Offering vessel - Clay - 2020+ - ODE - DAY 3

"An Ephemeral Ritual" Designed to host a few candles on a bed of sand, this object allows us to welcome a hearth thus symbolized that plunges us into introspective and collective contemplation. The ceramic - the first "Art of Fire" - then comes to life before our eyes. The imprints trace the rituals of yesterday and today, of our ancestors and our childhoods, in order to imagine and reinvent those of tomorrow. The work before you is a unique piece and was made with 12 hands, in a single day (04/05/2024). It is in perfect condition. This creation is one of 3 unique pieces produced as part of the project "ODE 2" set up by the designer "pirouette". For a day, 5 volunteer participants went to a craftswoman's studio (here a ceramic-lacquerer: Chris Gullon). During this experience, they put themselves in the designer's shoes in order to manufacture an object in a single day. taille : 40 cm de diamètre x 52 cm de hauteur poids : 10 kg environ matière : argile + empreintes végétales - This is a unique piece, handmade by a ceramist-lacquerer. This work is signed by the craftswoman (under the piece) and by the designer using a stamped aluminum plate. This unique piece will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
