Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $5,500* *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. Classic 1920s architecture defines this engagement ring, setting a 0.90-carat Old European-cut diamond within a crisp octagonal frame. The low-profile white gold mounting is detailed with pierced filigree and hand-engraved wheat motifs — period hand work that cast reproductions never quite capture. Old European cutting gives the stone a slower, warmer fire than a modern brilliant, which is precisely what collectors of the period seek.
