A flat acrylic crystal protects the dial and remains clear, showing no obvious deep scratches, crazing, or chips. Movement Inside the case beats the Omega manual wind caliber 485. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly. The watch displays honest, age-appropriate wear on the polished stainless steel case, free of significant impacts. The frosted dial and black hands are remarkably well-preserved, and the manual wind movement remains bright and visually excellent. Dimensions 16 mm (excluding the crown) Remarks This De Ville succeeds through its specialized dial texture and graceful oval geometry. The exceptionally clean presentation of the dial, paired with the strong performance of the caliber 485, makes this a highly appealing example of vintage Omega design. History Omega introduced the De Ville as a standalone collection in 1967, separating it from the Seamaster line to focus entirely on elegance and refined urban design. Throughout the 1970s, the De Ville family expanded to include a wide variety of sophisticated ladies' models, often experimenting with distinctive case shapes, textured dials, and minimalist hour markers. Powered by reliable, miniaturized manual wind calibers, these watches were designed to offer precise mechanical timekeeping within slender, jewelry-like profiles. Today, they remain highly appreciated by collectors for their enduring mid-century aesthetic and dependable Swiss engineering.
