All auctions / Contemporary Art / Omhie - Mind Over Matter
A visceral explosion of form and chaos where thought transcends substance. The face—or what remains of it—emerges from the background like an electric apparition, carved by dense blacks and instinctive drips that convey the weight of mental overlap. Deep blues and acid yellows do not merely fill the space; they vibrate like out-of-tune radio frequencies, creating a tangible tension between the order of human architecture and the entropy of urban mark-making. At the center, those eyes—ignited in red—lock onto the viewer: they do not ask for sympathy, but assert an uncontrollable presence, a pure determination surviving the background noise, the layered gestures, and time itself. It is the portrait of a mind commanding the storm that surrounds it. The textual trace MIND stamped on the canvas is not just a word; it is a statement of intent: the supreme will reorganizing chaos, turning raw matter into pure energy and instinct into unyielding art.
