All auctions / Contemporary Art / Omhie - Still Loud
The artwork explores the internal conflict between the search for mental stillness and the overwhelming sensory overload of modern life. The blue dog — a raw, visceral central figure — stands as a crowned guardian, symbolizing resilience and instinctive awareness. The statement "I SCREAMED FOR SILENCE BUT THE NOISE REMAINED" forms the conceptual core of the piece, highlighting the clash between a longing for quiet and an uncontrollable, saturated reality. The vivid contrast between the energetic figure, the bright yellow field, and the raw lettering amplifies the tension between desired calm and the noise that continues to echo beneath the surface.
