A work that entrusts to two figures, to an unfinished gesture, and to a slender golden thread the story of a feeling still alive. He turns toward her. She lowers her gaze. Their hands seek each other without touching, and in the space between them, the question that traverses the entire composition takes shape: is it really a goodbye, or is there still a possibility of staying? The golden thread holds this uncertainty. It crosses the void, unites the fingers, and invites the viewer to complete the story with their own experience. The ivory, taupe, and petrol tones dialogue with the fluid lines of the figures and with the golden accents. The large format, 140 × 200 cm, gives presence to the scene, while the relief invites close observation: the surface reveals details and light variations that accompany the gaze along the composition. The work originates from an original pen sketch, developed through digital processing and subsequent interventions by the artist using graphics programs for the relief design. Proposed as a unique specimen, 1/1, signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, it represents the first chapter of Ora’s artistic journey. An artwork for those who recognize, in that suspended gesture, something of their own story.
