The Silent Chair N1 ⸻ Description (English) Some objects preserve more than their form—they preserve memory. The Silent Chair N1 transforms the familiar silhouette of a chair into a quiet symbol of reflection, presence and absence. Rather than inviting someone to sit, it invites the viewer to pause, observe and discover. The chair does not immediately reveal itself; it slowly emerges from the composition, rewarding those who look beyond the obvious. Deep blacks create structure, luminous whites breathe openness, while intense cobalt and turquoise blues introduce depth and emotion. Delicate crimson accents suggest traces of life and memory, and the richly textured surfaces reinforce the sensation that time itself has left its imprint on the canvas. As natural light changes throughout the day, reflections and subtle tonal variations reveal different facets of the artwork, allowing it to continually transform and offer a new visual experience. A contemporary abstract painting that explores memory, stillness and the silent presence that ordinary objects can hold long after a moment has passed. ⸻ Characteristics * Original acrylic and mixed media on canvas. * Title: The Silent Chair N1. * Size: 120 × 100 cm. * Colours: White, black, cobalt blue, turquoise and subtle crimson accents. * Rich textured surface with multiple layers and expressive details. * Finished with protective satin varnish. * Designed for a stretcher with a maximum depth of 1.5–2 cm. ⸻ Description (Spanish) There are objects that preserve much more than their shape: they preserve memory. The Silent Chair N1 transforms the recognizable silhouette of a chair into a silent symbol of reflection, presence and absence. It is not a chair that invites sitting, but to pause, observe and discover. The figure remains hidden at first sight and only appears little by little, rewarding the viewer who chooses to look beyond what is obvious. Deep blacks build the structure of the composition, while luminous whites contribute openness and stillness. Cobalt and turquoise blues introduce depth and emotion, and the subtle crimson accents evoke traces of life and memories that endure. The textures, dense and organic, reinforce the sense that time has left its own mark on the canvas. Natural light transforms the work throughout the day, making new reflections, nuances and color depths appear, so that each moment reveals a different facet of the painting. A contemporary abstract work that speaks of memory, stillness, and the silent presence that everyday objects are capable of preserving.
