Otaco Minnitoys British American Oil Tanker

Made in Canada. 1945- 1961. Pressed steel. This oil tanker was part of Otaco's "private-label" series of toys. Private-label toys were promotional or display models made for specific companies and not intended for retail sale. As a result, production runs were usually small, which meant fewer examples entered the market. Embossed, "MINNITOYS OTACO LTD. ORILLIA CANADA MADE IN CANADA" on wheels. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. All purchases are eligible for free delivery to the Winter 2026 Dixie Gas Show on December 4th. From the Barry Yorgason Collection.
