These original works had been secretly held by friends of Picasso, such as Geneviève Laporte, who had met Picasso in the late 1940s and with whom he developed a close relationship in the early 1950s. This exhibition received worldwide media coverage, as the discovery and public unveiling of 42 previously unknown works marked a first for this artist. The number 18 in the bottom right-hand corner of the artwork corresponds to the number of the drawing shown amongst the 42 on display. Like Matisse and Chagall, Picasso is one of the most famous artists today. Rare, perfect for collectors. P.S.: The frame is not included in the sale. Thank you. Carefully packaged and protected, shipped with insurance and requiring a signature upon delivery.
