All auctions / Medals, Arms & Armour / Pablo Picasso

An incredible and extremely rare postcard addressed to the writer and painter Carlo Levi from two gigantic painters of the twentieth century: Pablo Picasso and Renato Guttuso. Sent from Cannes on November 22, 1966, it testifies to the acquaintance and friendship between the two artists. In perfect condition (even though the images appear a bit dark), the signature of Guttuso is followed by that of his wife Mimise. Even in its simplicity, it is a document that tells a small, very interesting glimpse into the life of two great protagonists in the history of art. Attached is a photographic certificate of authenticity (COA) drawn up by a certified expert of the Collegio Lombardo Periti Esperti e Consulenti di Milano - Settore Belle Arti.
