~ PAIR OF ARMCHAIRS WITH FUR COVERS

Made of carved mahogany and mahogany veneer. The rounded apron rests on convex front legs with claws and sabre-shaped rear legs. The slightly curved armrests end in lion’s paws, each holding a ring in its mouth, and the backrests are upturned. Empire period. Height: 85 cm – Width: 61 cm – Depth: 70 cm. (A few chips and cracks, some restoration, but in good overall condition). Swietenia mahagoni (II/B). Pre-Convention specimen.
