A pair of monumental Louis XVI style decorative urns fashioned from substantial variegated pink and grey marble with cast gilt metal mounts. Each large-scale vessel features a heavy ovoid marble body with dark veining, topped by a fitted gilt metal cover accented with a pinecone finial. The flanking side handles are formed as sculptural entwined serpents, while the main bodies are supported by cast metal socles detailed with leaf and dart borders. The assemblies rest securely upon square plinths finished with egg and dart molding along the bottom base edges. Dimensions: 12"W x 27"H Condition Request Condition Report Good.
