A pair of gold sheet appliques, each decorated in repousse with a coiled animal in profile, with a rounded body, large ear, recessed eye, long downward-curving muzzle and two attachment loops on the reverse. Size: 22-22mm x 20-20mm; Weight: 2.4g Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired in Brussels, Belgium; initially from a Swiss private collection (1901–1981).
