All auctions / Contemporary Art / Parfen.D XL - Vermilion Poppies
A light, airy blue occupies the upper part and deepens as you move down, into a dense, velvety blue at the base. On this background, a field of vermilion poppies lights up, the petals having a tactile quality illuminated by touches of yellow that accentuate their warmth. Thin green stems rise from below, supporting the flowers with a natural, light rhythm. Small ultramarine blue specks spread here and there, in dialogue with the background. The contrast between the bright red and the cool blue creates an immediate energy that catches the eye from afar. A lively and luminous work that restitutes the joy of a blooming field under a clear sky. Signed and dated 2026 at bottom right Image size: 95 x 65 cm Overall canvas size: 105 x 75 cm The artwork is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively upon request, in digital format. Parfen D. is a contemporary artist who turns painting into a poetic gesture, capable of revealing the intimate connection between human beings and nature. His work stands out for its ability to quietly evoke universal emotions through a refined and minimalist visual poetics. He does not seek to represent nature realistically, but to suggest its essence: fragility, lightness, and a deep connection with our inner world. Every brushstroke is a meditative act, an invitation to slow down, to immerse oneself in a universe of vibrating silence. The colors, which often dominate his works, are not mere shades but true protagonists, charged with memory and meaning. His canvases do not impose a narrative, but offer spaces for contemplation where each viewer can find their own story."
