The Parker Duofold Norman Rockwell Limited Edition fountain pen is presented in excellent condition, notable for its carefully preserved aesthetics as well as its complete original contents. The body and cap, made of marbled resin in ivory, black and translucent tones, show a deep, uniform shine, with no color losses or discolorations. No cracks, fissures or structural marks are evident, only micro signs of handling, very light and practically imperceptible to the naked eye, typical of a piece kept with care. The gold-plated rings and decorative elements retain their integrity, with a clean finish and no significant wear. The clip, perfectly aligned and functional, retains its original tension and presents an excellent aesthetic condition, with no deformations or loss of plating. The commemorative jewel on top is well defined, with no visible deterioration. The 18-karat gold nib, Parker-marked, point M, is in very good condition, with no deformations or irregular wear. The feed is correct and the nib has been serviced, ensuring optimal operation and smooth writing. The cartridge/converter filling system is operative and in perfect working order. It is worth noting that this piece includes its original wooden presentation box, along with documentation, illustrated cards and accessories, which significantly increases its collector value. The case is in very good overall condition, with slight storage signs, but maintaining full functionality and appeal. Overall, this is a very well-preserved, complete specimen that is highly representative of this limited edition, ideal for both collection and use. Conservation recommendations: use high-quality fountain pen inks, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry before storing, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and operate the system gently.
