Pet barrier: Prevents dogs or other pets housed in the trunk from jumping into the front-seat area while driving. Main features: • Material: It is made of a high-strength black polyester mesh, flexible yet tear-resistant. • Mounting: It features rigid metal bars (top and bottom) that lock into dedicated fittings near the car roof and on the trunk floor, tightened by the adjustable straps visible at the bottom. OEM code A 465 860 00 00, meaning it is designed specifically for the latest generation Mercedes-Benz G-Class, designated by project code W465 (produced from 2024 onward). The label also provides additional technical details about the component: • Production date: It was manufactured on June 3, 2024 (03 JUN. 2024). • Materials: The abbreviated codes indicate the construction materials, namely PVC (polyvinyl chloride for the finishes/hard structure) and >PES < (high-strength polyester used for the rope filaments of the net). • Supplier: The circled BOS logo indicates that the part was produced for Mercedes by BOS Group, a German world-leading company specializing in vehicle load-retention systems and cargo roofs.
