Original painting Oil on canvas 100x70 large size, complete with the artist's brochure Pasquale Vuotto is a contemporary Italian painter and poet, born in Naples in 1958. He is especially esteemed in the Neapolitan art scene for his ability to capture the soul of the Marine landscapes of Campania. Artistic path Early passion: He began painting at the age of just 10, driven by innate talent. Training: He took his first steps as a self-taught artist, guided by a strong creative instinct. Subsequently, to refine his technique, he attended the art studios of masters D'Urso and Ciardo, achieving excellent technical maturity. Philosophy: Vuotto has never sought wealth or fame in art for its own sake, but a sense of deep personal and spiritual fulfillment. In his works, painting often blends with poetry, conveying a sense of meditation. Style and subjects Painting "from life": About 90% of his production is devoted to his beloved Naples and the nearby coastal localities. Since he was a boy he loves painting en plein air (from life). pasquale-vuotto-ormeggio-a-pozzuoli/) Preferred themes: He is famous above all for his seascapes, fishing villages (such as Ischia, Pozzuoli, Sorrento and Positano), harbors and the iconic fishing boats moored, just like those visible pasquale-vuotto. Critics sometimes compare his chromatic sensitivity to Post-Impressionist movements or the Macchiaioli. He uses oil colors to give extraordinary depth and a sense of movement to the water and sky, capturing particular hours of the day such as dawns, sunsets or gray days. Awards In addition to being a reference point in Italian galleries, his works have crossed national borders, being exhibited and collected abroad, particularly in the United States, England and Germany.
