Original Peruvian national flag with the national coat of arms in the center. The flag consists of the distinctive three vertical stripes in red, white and red, with the national emblem of Peru centered on the white stripe. The coat of arms is richly depicted and shows the main symbols of Peru. In the upper part are a vicuña and the Cinchona tree. In the lower red field sits a golden horn of plenty, from which coins fall. These three elements symbolize respectively the animal world, the plant world and Peru's mineral riches.
