A rare blue printed Bank of the United States $1000 seen in the familiar layout with 3 portraits at each end and a columned bank building at center. Haxby did not list this type printed in blue. We have seen less than a handful as such. A red "Dividend Paid" stamp is at left. This third iteration of the Bank of the United States operated under a Pennsylvania charter. Estimate: $600 - $800.
