PHILIPPINES. Manila. Carnival Gilt Bronze Medal, 1922. UNCIRCULATED. Honeycutt-144. Dimensions: 42 x 33 mm. By Crispulo Zamora. Multi-color enamel. Obverse: Stylized Mercury flanked by "1922", "MANILA CARNIVAL" above, jester above, all flanked by cornucopia; Reverse: "CRISPULO ZAMORA" stamped at center. With original ribbon and suspension, name "PABLO A. VAZQUE". Wholesome and original looking, this handsome example offers fully intact glossy enamels with lustrous surfaces. The ribbon does exhibit some degradation due to its age, over 100 years old now, but remains intact. A lovely piece that is sure to excite many collectors due to its overall state of preservation.
