Obverse: St. Augustine standing facing left surrounded by baby angels and clouds, 430*1930 below; Reverse: Legend "XV/ CENTARIO/ DEL/ GLORIOSO TRANSITO/ DE/ SAM AGUSTIN -- MANILA/ 1930", legend around "PP. AGUSTINOS Y RECOLETOS". A pleasing example displaying rich mottled patina with iridescent hues that pop out when tilted in the light. The intricate devices are bold and well formed with relatively smooth surfaces. A charming piece with much originality and good eye appeal. Estimate: $200 - $300.
