An icon of Philips, among the last great valve radios before the transistor era. This radio is not just a object: it is a piece of sonic memory, a fragment of an era when the family gathered around music, the distant voices captured by shortwave waves, the early FM programs. Turning it on today means reviving a warm, soft, three-dimensional sound, impossible to imitate with modern technology. It is a piece that decorates, tells a story, moves.
