Philips Infraphil -plus medical infrared lamp – approx. 1950s Special, original Philips Infraphil infrared heat lamp, finished in cream/white, with a distinctive red glass infrared lamp and protective cage. Equipped with the original Philips logo, adjustable arm and round base. The Infraphil is among the well-known Dutch post-war design classics. The model is often attributed in vintage circles to the French designer Charlotte Perriand. This attribution is, however, not definitive: Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen notes that Perriand selected the Infraphil for the 1949 exhibition Formes Utiles, but she was not the designer. The actual designer is likely an anonymous Philips employee. Brand: Philips Model: Infraphil plus, loose extra UV lamp added upon request!
