Philips - Louis Kalff - Lamp - Timor 69 - Metal

Iconic Timor 69 table lamp, designed by the Dutch architect and industrial designer Louis Kalff for Philips. Timor is regarded as one of Kalff's most recognizable designs and has grown into a classic within Dutch mid-century design. The wide, floating shade with a white reflector distributes pleasant indirect light and gives the lamp its characteristic, architectural appearance. The combination of the slender brass-colored stem, the round base, and the generous disk-shaped shade results in an elegant and timeless design that is both functional and sculptural.
