Pier Paolo De Rinaldis - L'approdo

Title: L’approdo Artist: Pier Paolo De Rinaldis Dimensions: 50 x 70 cm Technique: Oil on canvas Year of creation: 2026 Signature: bottom-right corner Shipping: sent as per photo L’approdo is a painting that tells a moment suspended between introspection and hope. The landscape is not depicted realistically, but conveyed through tactile color fields, contrasts of blue, ochre, and light tones. The water becomes a space for reflection, while the light traversing the composition suggests a possibility, a direction. The essential shapes and vertical marks evoke a distant, almost imagined place. It is a work that leaves room for interpretation and invites you to pause, even if just for a moment, in front of what has yet to come. The artist: My work often arises from the need to transform a space into a feeling. In L’approdo the water thus becomes an inner place: it does not merely represent a landscape, but a passage, a pause before reaching something. The material, laid and moved across the canvas, keeps the painting gesture visible and lets an intimate and contemporary dimension emerge.
