Type: Engraving, finished with burin; Condition: Excellent print quality, good conservation state with slight traces of foxing and browning. To use the insured coverage, any damage to the sheet must be reported to the courier at the time of delivery. Otherwise, it will not be possible to activate the insurance refund procedure. Provenance: From private collection; Pieter van Laer (Haarlem, 1599 – Haarlem, c. 1642), known in Italy by the distinctive nickname Il Bamboccio, was a revolutionary Dutch painter and engraver. He is celebrated in art history for having undermined the academic hierarchies of the Seicento, introducing in Rome a wholly new pictorial genre focused on humbler, everyday reality.
