Rare aboard logbook of the Brick Barco MARGHERITA D. from September 12, 1873 to June 6, 1874. Written by Captain Pietro Stagno of Sori (Genoa), pp.156 Discrete preservation, interior in excellent condition, with some normal yellowing of pages and slight signs of use at the edges on some pages. Cover with diffuse stains and some abrasions, back with omissions and diffuse abrasions and the IV of the cover that tends to detach Departing from Genoa for America, in the very first pages there are references to the Strait of Gibraltar and Cape Verde. During the voyage, besides encounters with other vessels, there is discussion of the island of Tristan da Cunha. Stopover in the port of Buenos Aires Day by day, "Movements and Events", "Estimated Position" and "Corrected Position", longitude and latitude, distances traveled
