Piece realized in Murano glass by master Pino Signoretto. The technique used to create this work is the excavation technique. The glass excavation technique is an artistic and artisanal process, typical of Murano's tradition, that reproduces the appearance of ancient archaeological artifacts weathered by time and by chemical agents in the subsurface. The sculpture develops vertically, on a compact cylindrical base, from which rises a long, sinuous figure. The body presents a deliberately abstract and anthropomorphic form: in the upper part one can make out a head or a barely suggested face, while the long central element recalls a stylized body. The gold that can be seen on the sculpture is 24 kt.
