Pipe - Briar - (12)

Set of 12 antique briar tobacco pipes from the French Jura, dating from the 1960s. The pipes feature a classic straight shape, with a cylindrical bowl finished in a rusticated texture imitating natural wood bark, paired with a slightly tapered black stem. This lot stands out for its preservation in old stock: most of the pipes are still individually wrapped in their vintage protective papers. One specimen has been unboxed to show the model, finish, and construction. Features: Quantity: 12 pipes Origin: Jura, France Date: around 1960 Main material: briar Finish: rusticated Shape: straight, Billiard type Stems: black synthetic material, probably ebonite Manufacturer: unidentified Presentation: old storage box with individual packing papers Condition: Set originating from an old stock, preserved in its original packaging. One pipe has been unboxed for photographs. The others remain wrapped. Possible signs of storage and aging related to the age. The internal condition of all wrapped pipes has not been individually checked. The box shows signs of time, with distortions and wear. An interesting set for collectors of antique French pipes, briar enthusiasts, or lovers of the Jura pipe industry. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
