Four decorative plaques from or relating to World War II. 1. Plaque from 1945, issued in connection with the Liberation of the Netherlands. Germany takes a beating, as indicated by the crushed flag. Diameter 23 cm. Manufactured by Société-Céramique Maastricht. Excellent condition. 2. British commemorative plaque, see also the text on the reverse. Text on the front: "The Netherlands shall rise again, London, 1941". With the image and the W of Queen Wilhelmina (in exile in England). The purpose was to raise money through the sale of these plaques. Diameter 24 cm. Produced by the English crockery brand Booths (Silocon China). Two hairlines in the rim, lower left. 3. Liberation plaque WWII, made at Koninklijke Goedewaagen in Gouda in 1945. Diameter 18.5 cm. Numbered edition; this is plaque 1061. In top condition. 4. Liberation plaque 5 May 1945, made at plateel factory Zuid-Holland. Text: "What once trembled, what faltered You always faithfully kept watch Yes, you remain as in the past Our symbol of courage and strength" Excellent condition. Diameter 23 cm NO SHIPPING TO THE U.S.A.
