Chinese Blue and White 'Long Liza' Dish with Kangxi Mark & Period |Kangxi Period (1662–1722) A fine Chinese blue and white porcelain deep dish with a gently scalloped rim, finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The central scene depicts two elegant ladies, or Meiren (美人), standing in a walled garden beside a tall banana plant. The broad border is divided into alternating cartouches, decorated with seated figures and geometric wan-patterns (卍), creating a sophisticated and balanced composition. The reverse is decorated with stylised floral and ruyi-cloud motifs, while the base bears a six-character Kangxi mark within a double circle, reading 大清康熙年制 (Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi), indicating “Made during the Kangxi reign of the Great Qing Dynasty.” Dimensions: W 20.5 × H 4.5 cm Condition: Overall in very good condition. Two professionally consolidated hairline cracks; otherwise free from chips, further cracks or restoration. Please examine the photographs carefully.
