Platinum Ring from Our Workshop with a 1.03 ct Brilliant-Cut Diamond

A one-carat brilliant-cut diamond has a charm all its own and is a dream piece of jewelry for many of our customers. Large enough to be striking, yet possessing a timeless elegance that transcends trends. With this ring, we’re pleased to present just such a “one-carat” gem—featuring a 1.03-carat brilliant-cut diamond. Crafted in our workshop, the ring features a modern full-cut brilliant-cut diamond at its center, graded “E”. This places it among the rare, nearly colorless diamonds with a very slight, cool blue tint. The stone shows no fluorescence, and both its cut and proportions have been graded “very good.” A distinct, natural pattern of inclusions makes this one-carat diamond more affordable than a comparable stone of higher clarity, without detracting from its impressive brilliance and lively sparkle. The large diamond is set in a classic platinum prong setting. It is subtly set apart from the ring shoulders, which are set with smaller brilliant-cut diamonds, giving the center stone space and light. For this ring, we were able to work exclusively with existing materials in our workshop. Both the platinum and the diamonds were sourced from older pieces of jewellery and were reassembled and crafted into this ring by us. The diamond comes with a certificate from the Diamond Testing Laboratory in Idar-Oberstein. In addition, we had the ring independently appraised by the German Society for Gemstone Appraisal (DeGEB). A one-carat diamond, set in platinum, that is not only intended for special occasions but can be worn for a lifetime.
