This contemporary piece features a complex, three-dimensional layering technique (3D Mixed Media): Foreground: A high-quality acrylic glass (Plexiglas) sheet, hand-painted with precise transparency and glossy effects. Background: A traditional hand-painted canvas stretched on a wooden frame, featuring integrated butterflies in relief. The artistic effect: The physical superposition of the painted Plexiglas over the canvas creates an incredible 3D depth effect, reminiscent of a modern cabinet of curiosities. Depending on the room's lighting and the viewing angle, the plexiglass casts subtle shadows and reflections onto the canvas and the textured butterflies underneath.
