Ø57mm, ca. 223g, 18K gold, à-goutte hunting case pocket watch, signed, case and movement share the same number 189120, glazed movement, legendary Girard-Perregaux tourbillon with 3 gold bridges, gold gear wheel and chronometer escapement, signed, signed enamel dial (with fine hairline cracks, minor restoration), Breguet steel hands, original box, in working order, sensational quality. The watch is not only one of the legendary Girard-Perregaux 3-bridge tourbillons, but also a double-certified observatory chronometer, certified in 1892 and 1900 at the Neuchâtel Observatory. Its sister watch, 189119, was auctioned in New York in 2016 and fetched ca. US$100,000 (https://www.cortrie.de/go/j1L).
