Polished Petrified wood freeform - Fossilised wood...

Set of 4 Top Polished Petrified Wood Freeform Sculptures – 14–17 cm / 7.5 kg Total – Dipterocarpus – Java, Indonesia (Miocene) Description: A striking, high-quality set of four free-standing petrified wood sculptures (Dipterocarpus sp.) sourced from Java, Indonesia. Dating back to the Miocene epoch (approx. 5 to 23 million years ago), this 7.5 kg collection showcases organic freeform contours polished across all upper faces to emphasize rich internal mineralization, while preserving the natural, unpolished stone texture at the base. Visual & Aesthetic Highlights: * Warm Amber & Caramel Palette: Displays a lustrous range of warm tones including honey-amber, deep caramel, ochre, mocha, and pale cream chalcedony veins. * Top Polished Surface Finish: Expertly polished on upper and side surfaces to reveal swirling wood grain, fine cell growth lines, and organic texture transitions. * Natural Unpolished Base: Left unpolished on the bottom to retain the raw, authentic fossil texture while providing a stable, flat-cut foundation. * Free-Standing Monolith Formats: Cut flat on bottom surfaces to stand independently, making them ideal for desktop displays, shelving arrangements, or luxury mineral collections. * Substantial Freeform Sculptures: Ranging from 14 cm to 17 cm in height, these four distinct pieces form a harmonious, high-end decorative grouping.
