Pollie - Husband & Wife

A two-part work by artist Pollie, consisting of two interconnected abstract pieces. In Husband & Wife, two human figures are reduced to powerful, minimalist lines. The combination of white, warm earth tones and gold leaf gives the works a calm yet luxurious appearance. The gold leaf provides, depending on the incident of light, subtle sheen and extra depth. The two figures complement each other and form a single whole. The loose, hand-painted lines and visible structures give each work a unique character.
