Rare two-seat sofa by Poltronova, model 119 “Ricciolo”, designed by Guido Rosati, in 1975. Characterized by a bold, sculptural form, the sofa features cylindrical arms with generous proportions and crinkled leather details, paired with a deep, inviting seating and a low, architectural profile. Upholstered in original black aniline leather, the design is emblematic of the radical and Italian postmodern furniture of the late twentieth century, where comfort, volume, and expressive form converge. The Ricciolo model remains a sought-after example of Poltronova’s innovative and experimental design language of that period. Conditions: The sofa presents in completely original condition, with signs of wear consistent with its age and use, which attribute authenticity and character to the piece and are in line with its vintage nature.
