Pölzl Peter / poep-art - " VORTICE MARINO " (XXL)

Description provided by the artist This unique original work by Peter Pölzl / poep-art – is 100% handmade. Made in Italy The “guiding profile” for the explanation of my paintings is best described, in many images, as a deliberate rejection of linguistic fixation. For PöP, talking about art is often difficult or even “senseless,” since painting, to him, is an autonomous form of thinking that goes beyond what can be said. He sees painting as a process that begins where language ends. He holds the view that one can only put into words what words can express—painting has nothing to do with that. In summary: my guiding profile is the openness of the image. An image must be able to stand on its own for him without external explanation, as any interpretation would merely restrain the image. An abstract painting by Peter Pölzl no longer looks like a likeness of reality, but like a battleground of colors and textures. There are no recognizable objects, figures, or landscapes anymore.
