POPLEA - - DIPTYQUE LE SABLIER— by POPLEA (2000)

“Le Sablier” – Diptyque – Popléa, 2026 Time takes shape, matter becomes emotion. With Le Sablier, Popléa explores the passage of time through two abstract compositions that respond to one another in a fascinating balance. The generous, almost sculptural forms evoke the movement of sand that flows, transforms and reinvents itself infinitely. The ochre yellow, intense and luminous, contrasts with the soft powder pink, while the black outlines, deliberately raw, bring strength and depth to the whole. The handling of the material, the superimposed paint and the gestural traces reveal a spontaneous creation, at the border of contemporary abstraction and free figuration. Two canvases, two movements, a single story: that of time passing. A diptych that is both minimalist and powerful, designed to bring a singular artistic presence to a contemporary interior. toiles sold already mounted on stretchers www.poplea.art The Artist Popléa: If you own this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa. But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym. He or she has not yet revealed their identity — voluntarily. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment: Create without a name, without status, without biography. The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel. The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wanted to explore another path, freer. Refuse filters, codes, discourses. Refuse that it’s always the same people — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value. Perhaps what you own is the beginning of something. Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now. Both options are beautiful. And ultimately, maybe that is the true luxury. The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insurance included. Happy bidding Latest buyer comments: "Very happy with my purchase! The piece received is magnificent; you can immediately feel the technique and the work that went into it. The packaging was especially meticulous." "Exceptional packaging for a work that is just as exceptional! Thank you to the artist for this quality work."
