POPLEA - POPLEA FAIT LE MUR - "La Joconde"

With this new series, Popléa transforms the Rubik’s Cube into an element of artistic composition. Each face is designed as a small mosaic of nine colored pixels. Visually assembled, these faces participate in a larger image. The portrait appears behind a wall of fractured concrete blocks. As if, in breaking the brutality of the concrete, one discovers the strength of a work that had been concealed until now. The gray, rugged material contrasts with the vibrant colors of the cubes: the wall cracks, the art reveals itself. High-definition print on 3 mm aluminium, glossy finish with visual depth and gallery effect. Work delivered ready to be hung with mounting system provided. The artist Popléa: If you possess this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa. But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym. He or she has not yet revealed their identity — intentionally. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment: Create without a name, without status, without biography. The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel. The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wanted to explore another path, freer. Refusing filters, codes, discourses. Refusing that it be always the same — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value. Perhaps what you own is the beginning of something. Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now. Both options are beautiful. And deep down, that’s perhaps the true luxury. The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insured included. Best of luck with your bids Latest buyer comments: "Very happy with my purchase! The piece received is magnificent, you can immediately feel the technical skill and the amount of work that went into it. The packaging was particularly meticulous." "Exceptional packaging for a work that is equally exceptional! Thanks to the artist for this quality work."
