Poppy Field under the Summer Sun - Cristina Stefan

Poppy Field under the Summer Sun by Cristina Stefan Painting 20.0 x 16.0 :: Poppy Field under the Summer Sun - Impressionist Landscape This vibrant work captures the joyful and luminous essence of summer. In the pure tradition of Impressionism the artist uses a loose impasto technique to capture the ephemeral: the play of overhead light filtering through the trees and flooding the poppy field with vibrant yellow. The foreground is dominated by patches of poppy red which contrast beautifully with the green and yellow of the foliage and grass creating depth and movement that invite the viewer to contemplate. The eye is naturally drawn to the distant horizon framed by lush vegetation and a blue sky dotted with light clouds. This acrylic painting is a hymn to nature the outdoors and the beauty of summer landscapes. It will bring a touch of cheerfulness light and serenity to any interior. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Impressionist Subject: Landscape Width: 20.0 Height: 16.0 Depth: 0.8 Weight: 4.5 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
